I am thrilled for 2020. I spent most of 2019 pregnant, and as with my other two pregnancies, I spent most of it sick. At one point I had to go to the ER to get an IV due to Hyperemesis. I can tell you I so enjoy having my baby girl in my arms rather than in my belly. I was able to record a couple episodes while pregnant, and I made it to a few competitions.

Many of you listening to this episode may have started following the podcast at Nationals after Remi (love you bro!) was told he couldn't tape the Big Show. Luckily, I was able to capture many amazing moments that would have been forever lost had I not grabbed my phone and did the live stream. I'm hoping they get a professional group to capture Nationals for NBTA in the future.

Speaking of NBTA, in today's episode, we discuss the major differences between the National Baton Twirling Association (NBTA) and the United States Twirling Association (USTA). We talk about some terms that have been brought up by non-twirlers. For example, I cannot tell you how many times I've heard, "And what the heck is a triple?"

I hope you enjoy the podcast, and I look forward to serving the baton twirling world more in the future. Here's to a great start to the 20s ya'll! Connect with us if you or anyone you know would like to be interviewed for a future episode!
