I met Caroline when I moved back to Texas five years ago, and I knew she had something special. She worked closely with John Mitchell, who was on a previous episode of the baton twirling podcast, to create the hairpieces for Twirling to Fight Cancer. It has become a massive fundraiser for the organization.
Only a couple years later, she won the title of Miss Texas, and she did an outstanding job at Miss America placing top 10. I would not be surprised if she heard the baton twirlers around the world screaming in excitement when they called her name. There is literally a GIF of her twirling on the Miss America stage. See?!?!
After finishing her undergrad at Baylor, Caroline moved to Austin, Texas and became the feature twirler at the University of Texas. She had the unique opportunity to meet Jimmy Fallon when he came down for an episode of the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
